Thank you, Bishop, for all you do. . You have made a great difference in our diocese in the 3 years you have been with us. Our lives have been enriched, and our diocese healthier because of your continual message of hope.

The Diocese of Western New York is a different place than it was three short years ago, and much of that is due to your continual reminder of the ‘Web of Grace’ that binds us together and supports us. Thank you especially for your presence, as you refer to in your message, on that Monday night in the dark, smoky nave of Grace Church in Randolph. This was a precious time for me as we listened to the moving of the Spirit and saw the liturgy that evening evolve before us. Surrounded by dozens of clergy and more than a hundred neighbors, the Web of Grace was truly palpable. May our ministry together in WNY continue to be filled with the guidance of the Spirit and the blessing of God.

The Diocese of Western New York is a different culture than it was three short years ago and I attribute this to your continual reminder of the ‘Web of Grace’ that surrounds and supports us in our journey of faith together. Thank you for your presence, as you spoke of in your message, at our Thanksgiving Celebration the evening after our fire. It was a powerful time of experiencing the movement of the Spirit as our liturgy evolved around us. May God continue to bless our ministry, bound together in the Web of Grace.
